The reason I started treatment was due to my oldest son dying. I was a trauma mess and needed something different than normal depression meds. I was on ketamine 14 months. It has helped me get over the depression hump I was experiencing. It helped clear my mind from intrusive thoughts and feelings. It helped me sleep. It helped me grieve in an appropriate way. It took some time before the Ketamine started to work. Maybe two or three months. But I can honestly say it improved my depression significantly!
